Ambiance Design is a small, family-owned business, making it right off the bat, a more personal and comfortable setting. When you come in for a consultation, we sit down with coffee or tea and take the time to get to know you. If you choose to move forward with us, we are with you every step of the way: from consultation to installation. We do everything in our power to make our clients beyond satisfied, but rather a lifelong client, enthusiastic about Ambiance Design. Thank you notes, follow-up calls, Christmas cards, and more…we treat all of our valued clients as if they were a part of the Ambiance family!
Putting our Clients First
During the initial meeting, our consultants take the time to get to know you: your style, preference, desires, and concerns when it comes to your window treatments or other design needs. From there, we walk you around the showroom, showing the best options for you and your home based on what you have expressed, all while respecting your budget. We understand that when investing in products and services, clients have problems that they want addressed, and we do our best to find the perfect solution.
No Pressure Environment
Yes, we are a business, and yes, we have bills to pay, and a profit to make. HOWEVER, that NEVER results in a pressured sale. We do not nag, tweak the facts, push for more expensive options, or guilt trip anyone. We understand AND put it right out in the open from our initial meeting with our clients, that we might not be a perfect fit for everyone. Our ultimate goal is to help our clients make difficult window treatment decisions easy and to make their dreams for their home come true while exceeding all expectations!
Hunter Douglas window treatments are customized, high-end, quality products that will last a long time and will not disappoint. We believe that if you are making an investment, to do it right the first time so that it lasts a lifetime. When going to a big box store, you will sacrifice quality and satisfaction. Light gaps, malfunctions, repairs, and mismatched treatments may become common occurrences, all of which are easily preventable if you choose Ambiance!
Experienced and Professional Staff
The A-team brings with it a lot of skill sets, strengths, and most importantly: Experience! Laura Hawley, the founder and owner of Ambiance Design, is not a behind the scenes, sit in her office type of business woman. She worked her way up from a customer support and installer position at a Hunter Douglas manufacturing site and later took that knowledge and expertise to build her own business from the ground up in 2008. Fast forward to today and we have a team of 6. While we are all Hunter Douglas certified through training of basic product information, we have 2 amazing design consultants who are equipped with the extensive knowledge and experience to be able to assist you in your purchases.
Installations of window treatments can be a bit hairy if you do not know what you are doing. Measurements must be precise and processes followed for accuracy and proper function. That is why our two installers are trained, certified, and experienced. They take pride in their work, not leaving anything “half done” or “good-enough.” You just don’t get this precision and care from big box businesses.
